Tarkio Fishing Access Site is located on the Clark Fork River 160 miles from the mouth on the right hand side as you face down stream. Tarkio East is the next access site up stream from Tarkio. Forest Grove is the next site down stream from Tarkio. Tarkio is one of 24 FWP managed sites on the Clark Fork River. .
