Management Goal

Mange the land for highly productive, diverse vegetative communities that will provide high quality forage and cover for native wildlife species, with an emphasis on bighorn sheep, elk, mule deer, and white-tailed deer winter/spring forage supplies; and manage for hunting and other recreational opportunities for the public and access to National Forest Lands.

Drive 8 miles west of Anaconda on Montana Highway 1 to the Yankee Flat Area. Turn left onto an unmarked road near marker 18, just east of Department of Natural Resources and Conservation Office. Drive past a group of houses and look for the Garrity Moutnain WMA sign.   (Lat 46.142,  Lng  -113.049)
