Elk Island Fishing Access Site is located on the Yellowstone River 52 miles from the mouth on the right hand side as you face down stream. Intake Dam is the next access site up stream from Elk Island. Seven Sisters is the next site down stream from Elk Island. Elk Island is one of 51 FWP managed sites on the Yellowstone River. .
