FAS Logo Find a Fishing Access Site

Nearly every angler in Montana has a favorite fishing access site. To help you find your next favorite FAS, you can now search for a site by name, nearest city, regional area, closest water body, activity or facility.

With 320 fishing access sites to choose from across the state, anglers enjoy good access to the state’s blue ribbon streams and rivers, lakes and reservoirs. Some of Montana's State Parks also offer fishing and other recreational activities. So be sure to find your favorite fishing hole at one of Montana's State Parks or Fishing Access Sites .

You may download the field guide to more than 300 fishing access sites located on Montana’s streams, rivers, and lakes. This popular program provides public access to high quality waters for angling, boating, rafting, and other recreation opportunities (click image on right).
