On December 10, 2012 the FWP Commission adopted a
wolf hunting and trapping season closure
effective immediately
in two areas of deer and elk hunting district HD 313,
found within the boundary of Wolf Management Unit 390:

• SW HD 313, bordered by Yellowstone National Park on the south, Mill/Cinnabar Creeks on the north, and HWY 89 on the east.
• SE HD 313, bordered by Yellowstone National Park on the south, Bear Creek on the west and the HD 313 boundary on the north and east.

South West HD 313 area closed to wolf hunting:

That portion of deer/elk hunting district 313 within the following boundary: Beginning at the junction of Highway 89 and Mulherin Creek, then west on Mulherin Creek to Cinnabar Creek, then west along Cinnabar Creek to Mill Creek, then southwest along Mill Creek to the Yellowstone National Park Boundary, then east along the Park boundary to Highway 89, east of the intersection of Reese Creek and the Yellowstone River, then northwest along Highway 89 to Mulherin Creek, the point of origin.

South East HD 313 area closed to wolf hunting:

That portion of deer/elk hunting district 313 within the following boundary: Beginning at the junction of the eastern boundary of deer and elk hunting district 313 and the boundary of Yellowstone National Park, then west along the Yellowstone National Park boundary to Bear Creek, then northeast along Bear Creek to the boundary of deer and elk hunting district 313, then southeast along the boundary to the boundary of Yellowstone National Park, the point of origin.
