The standard route to Echo Lake Fishing Access Site (FAS)is not feasible due to the flooded/closed causeway. The FAS can be accessed off Hwy 35 via La Brant road. Boat trailer parking for up to 12 vehicles and 10 single vehicle parking spaces; on-site host.

About 3 miles northeast of Bigfork, turn north off Highway 83 on Echo Lake Road at the Swan River School. Proceed approximately 3 miles and take the 2nd left after the Causeway onto Echo Lake Cabin Loop Road. Proceed 0.3 miles and turn right on the Echo Lake FAS road.

Advisory for Public Safety
Floating docks have been pulled from the water to prevent damage from ice. Typically, they are back in the water around mid-March. Roads at West Shore, Wayfarers and Lake Mary Ronan State Parks and Somers and Echo Lake FASs are regularly plowed to the boat ramps in the winter.
