IMPORTANT NOTICE: Posted Dec 14, 2012 EMERGENCY CLOSURE OF PORTION OF YELLOWSTONE Montana FWP has enacted an emergency closure of the Yellowstone River to all floating between Mayor's Landing Fishing Access Site & Highway 89 Bridge FAS until further notice. This closure is in response to safety concerns related to the Park Avenue Bridge (Highway 89) construction project. The river is also closed to all public use 100 feet above and below the Park Avenue Bridge till further notice. *****************************************************
Highway 89 Bridge Fishing Access Site is located on the Yellowstone River 489 miles from the mouth on the right hand side as you face downstream. Mayor's Landing is the next access site upstream from Highway 89 Bridge.
