IMPORTANT NOTICE - Posted November 16, 2010 Point of Rocks Fishing Access Site has been reopened following the installation of a concrete boat ramp, latrine, and parking area on the portion of the site west of Highway 89. The portion of Point of Rocks east of Highway 89 continues to remain open, however the old gravel boat ramp is no longer available for use. Revegetaion and rehabilitation of this site will occur in Spring 2011.
Point of Rocks Fishing Access Site is located on the Yellowstone River 537 miles from the mouth on the left hand side as you face downstream. Crystal Cross is the next access site upstream from Point of Rocks.
