FAS site closed until further notice. A woman walking her dog along the Yellowstone River south of Emigrant was attacked by a bear on 10/12/15. FWP reminds the public that bears often seek foods at lower elevations along the Yellowstone and other southwest Montana rivers during this time of year.

Hunting weapons restricted - rifles prohibited.

Point of Rocks Fishing Access Site is located on the Yellowstone River 537 miles from the mouth on the left hand side as you face downstream.  Crystal Cross is the next access site upstream from Point of Rocks.
