Open during established hunting seasons with no weapons restrictions

This is a primitive site with no improvements except a small gravel parking area. Site development is planned for the fall of 2013. Development will include a parking area, vault latrine, 3-4 camp sites and a boat ramp.

Island Lake Fishing Access Site is located on Island Lake


From Kalispell go approximately 32 miles west on Hwy 2 towards Libby to Lost Prairie Rd opposite Boisverts FAS. Turn north on Lost Prairie Rd and go approx 16 miles to Island Lake. Alternately, proceed 38 miles west of Kalispell on Hwy 2 to Happys Inn. At Happys Inn, turn north on Pleasant Valley Fisher Rd and proceed 15 miles to Island Lake.
