Floating docks have been pulled from the water to prevent damage from ice. Typically, they are back in the water around mid-March. Roads at West Shore, Wayfarers and Lake Mary Ronan State Parks and Somers and Echo Lake FASs are regularly plowed to the boat ramps in the winter.

FAS will remain closed to public use because of damage to the interior roadway, caused by winter ice gorging and water run-off. Repairs have been scheduled to allow access as soon as possible.
