Temporary Client Days System

On May 12, 2005 the Fish, Wildlife & Parks Commission adopted a Temporary Client Day System on the Beaverhead and Big Hole rivers. The system will provide an opportunity for one-boat outfitters to apply for temporary client days on these two rivers. The temporary client days will come from outfitters who have not documented any use on the Beaverhead or Big Hole rivers over the past five years or outfitters who do not document any use for two consecutive years in the future. The department is now in the process of developing the administrative components of the system and anticipates implementing the program at the beginning of the 2006 calendar year. Information packets and application forms should be available in the summer of 2005. Contact the FWP Regional Office in Bozeman to request that your name be on the mailing list that will receive information on the Temporary Client Day System for the Beaverhead and Big Hole rivers.
