Fishing Access Sites
Travelers' Rest State Park River Mile: 2
The Lewis and Clark expedition camped here twice during their historic journey to locate the elusive Northwest Passage in 1805 and 1806. For countless generations before that Indian people used this area as a camping crossroad. The Travelers Rest Preservation and Heritage Association manages the site for FWP.  Seasonal. Contact the regional office for open and closure dates.  41 acre(s).
NOTE: All river Fishing Access Sites (FAS) are listed in descending order by river mile from headwaters to mouth. The mouth of a stream is its confluence with another body of water and is considered mile 0.
