Freezout Lake wildlife management area was created to provide habitat for waterfowl and upland game bird production, public hunting and wildlife viewing opportunities. Year-round wildlife viewing is possible, including upland game birds and raptors in the winter, waterfowl migrations in spring and fall, as well as waterfowl and shorebirds in the summer.
