Travel 28 miles east of Billings on I-94, take the Pompeys Pillar exit 23. Turn northwest onto Highway 312 and follow it westward past Pompeys Pillar and turn north onto Bundy Road, cross the Yellowstone River and travel up the hill for less than a mile. Turn west onto Bozeman Trail and follow it for a little more than a mile to the entrance station (gate). (Lat 46.012, Lng -108.059)
