Kirk Wildlife Refuge Fishing Access Site is located on the Gallatin River 46 miles from the mouth on the left hand side as you face downstream.  Kirk Wildlife Refuge is the first access site along the Gallatin River maintained by FWP. Axtell Bridge is the next site downstream from Kirk Wildlife Refuge.  Kirk Wildlife Refuge is one of 7 FWP managed sites on the Gallatin River.
