Migration
In the Bozeman area, normal migration periods are May 1 to 10 and August 15 to September 5.

Reproductive Characteristics
Near Fortine, egg dates range from June 14 to July 3. Statewide, eggs are reported from the second week of June, with young out of the nest the last week of July.
