The living stream is a valuable education tool allowing visitors to see fish in a natural setting. Visitors will gain awareness and appreciation for aquatic ecosystems and the animal species found there and serve as a focal point for interpretation of those species.

Groups will gather here for performances and presentations. The setting provides a strong tie to the Montana Wildlife Center and is oriented in such a way that all views are to the north overlooking Spring Meadow Lake.
