In 1933, few considered the impact major construction projects would have on fish and wildlife resources. In this Outdoor Report, Mike Gurnett takes us to Fort Peck, where after more than 70 years, past impacts are being balanced with the addition of a new hatchery. In addition to sport fish production, the facility will play a major role in FWP’s work with endangered species like the pallid sturgeon.
