A documentary film that explores the lives of three men and their influence on three rivers:  George Grant-Big Hole, Bud Lilly-Madison, and Dan Bailey-Yellowstone.

A cooperative effort between Montana Stockgrowers Association and Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks. Montana is a place to live a lifestyle that is timeless, genuine, and free. In recent years, more and more people from outside Montana have been drawn to this very special place. They have invested in Montana, and in many cases, have purchased large pieces of Eden.

There is a mystique to Montana—it is a land that tempts us to discover what is good and what is right with life. From this eternal invitation we have become a people who have the choice to live each day as a celebration. Our history has taught us that there is a balance to conserve the Montana experience.

Montana supports a wide range of wildlife and its habitat. The responsibility of managing a state the size of most countries can be daunting. When it comes to the state's animals and wildlands, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is awarded this task. One of FWP's more challenging responsibilities is caring for orphaned wildlife. In the early 1990's, work began on the creation of a new, state-of-the-art facility designed to give orphan animals a second chance at being wild. Today, the center provides a haven for animals where they can run, play, and even stretch out in the sun.

The larger issues seems clear, livestock grazing on public lands may be in the ranchers best interest and when the needs of the land are considered first, it can be in the publics best interest as well. While there are still serious differences, there is more and more common ground. We all share the same fundamental values, the love of the land, a concern for the life forms of the land, and the lifestyle the land makes possible. This shared respect is surely a very powerful beginning.

This award winning movie shows real life consequences when people choose to drink alcohol and operate a personal watercraft. See the affect those actions have on innocent by-standers including a grandfather on a fishing trip with his grandson. The movie was filmed at Cooney State Park near Joliet and stars real Montanans and actual emergency response and enforcement personnel. Watch through the credits at the end of the program to see how the story ends.

A Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks documentary developed in cooperation with The Governor's Bull Trout Recovery Team. Bull trout require cold water and act as an indicator of the health of cold water streams in Montana. Protecting existing bull trout habitat and restoring places that used to have bull trout have benefits for other kinds of trout as well. We can all do something to help Montana's largest native trout.

Montana's Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) program has been providing women the opportunity to learn outdoor skills since 1994.  BOW helps break down barriers that might prevent women from fishing, hunting, or pursuing other outdoor activities.  The 3-day Summer BOW Workshop offers classes on shooting sports, archery, canoeing, plant identification, map and compass, outdoor survival, fishing, bird identification, and many other topics.
