FWP bear managers are exploring ways to use electric shock to train bears, similar to the idea of using a shock collar to train a dog. Here a bear is deterred from opening a freezer it had raided in the past when it comes into contact with an electrical floor pad that delivers a mild electrical shock to the bear.
