Visitor Centers and Interpretive
Exhibits serve to enhance your students' understanding of many state parks. Staffed visitor
centers combine interactive displays and programs to make these special places come alive. Other
parks feature interpretive signs and markers to tell the stories of significant events and
interesting features of the area.
A visit to a FWP Fish Hatchery will provide students an opportunity to learn about the many species of fish raised for restoration programs and sport fishing. The 10 hatcheries are open year-round for visitation. Fish species and facilities differ at each location, so check with your local contact to find out specifics.
