Montana is well known for the great fishing found within its waters, and the incredible diversity of the state's 86 different species of fish. FWP's Angler Education Program offers something for everyone who would like to learn more about Montana's unique fish and fishing opportunities.
The Becoming an Outdoors-Woman program provides opportunities for adult women to learn outdoor skills while encouraging and empowering them to build their confidence in the outdoors. The hands-on workshops provide classes on skills such as fishing, shooting, archery, map & compass, and canoeing.
Classes are offered at Montana WILD most months from February through September. Bowhunter Education courses are available from March through July. All classes are limited to 45-48 students and require online registration.
