COVID-19 Response

Updated hours:
  • During Phase 2, MT WILD’s EXHIBIT HALL WILL BE OPEN TO VISITORS FROM 10-2 P.M. For immediate assistance outside of those hours, please call the front desk at 444-9941. The exhibit hall is at reduced capacity and only 10 visitors will be allowed in at one time. We will do our best to reduce any wait times as much as possible.
  • During Phase 2, MT WILD WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING REQUESTS FROM GROUPS FOR EDUCATION PROGRAMS OR MEETING ROOMS FROM OUTSIDE ORGANIZATIONS.

Montana WILD is situated on 5 acres overlooking Spring Meadow Lake State Park. The education center occupies a 7,000-square-foot refurbished historic limestone block building, originally built in 1892.

The Montana WILD complex

The center is available to schedule events for school groups, state agencies, clubs, and nonprofit organizations. The center may not be used for social or fundraising events. Meeting rooms may not be reserved for more than 2 consecutive days.
