Theres a lot more to ice fishing than just sitting on a bucket and staring down a hole while your fingers and toes go numb in the cold. "Discovering Montana's Ecosystems" is a fun and exciting way for learners of all ages to Discover , Explore , Conserve and Learn about our natural landscapes! The site includes information about flora (plants) and fauna (fish & wildlife); FWP sites; People Doing Good Work; and activities that teach about food chains, classification, adaptations, and human impacts.

The site is designed to provide educators of upper elementary and middle school students with a learning module to assist their students in attaining specific Montana science curriculum standards.
