Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks invites you to become a safe and responsible hunter. In Montana, hunting is still very much a way of life, and Montanans are proud of their hunting and outdoor heritage.
Hunters have worked hard to conserve Montana's wildlife populations and champion its tradition. Keeping this heritage alive requires all hunters to be safe and responsible. FWP offers a variety of education programs to help you prepare for a memorable hunt. Some hunting activities require you to complete an education program before you can obtain a hunting license. We encourage you to check out the various programs by clicking on the links to the right.
We wish you a lifetime of safe and enjoyable hunting.
“Discovering Montana’s Ecosystems” is a fun and exciting way for learners of all ages to Discover, Explore, Conserve and Learn about our natural landscapes! The site includes information about flora (plants) and fauna (fish & wildlife); FWP sites; People Doing Good Work; and activities that teach about food chains, classification, adaptations, and human impacts.
The site is designed to provide educators of upper elementary and middle school students with a learning module to assist their students in attaining specific Montana science curriculum standards.
