DescriptionIn celebration of the 25th year of National Public Lands Day (NPLD), Montana State Parks will host a trail improvement day at Lone Pine State Park on September 29 from 9am to 1pm.

Join us for a volunteer event as we work on the trails you love and enjoy at Lone Pine State Park. Trail maintenance and improvement is important for preserving park land, and volunteer work will leave an impact on the trails for years to come. During this event, Park Staff along with MCC Crews and Volunteers will be focusing on the removal of noxious weeds and other trail work.

Please wear closed-toe shoes, clothes appropriate for trail work, and bring water. Work gloves, rain jacket, sunscreen and snacks are recommended. Lunch will be provided.

2018 National Public Lands Day was celebrated nationwide on September 22nd. At Lone Pine State Park, we will celebrate a week later to give volunteers a chance to participate in other NPLD events as well.
