What: First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park presents a Ranger-guided Hike.

Join us on this guided hike as a Montana State Parks Ranger takes you to the top of First Peoples Buffalo Jump. This guided hike will travel along First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park's 3.5-mile roundtrip interpretive

During the hike you'll learn about the jump's history, geology, plants, animals, and more. The hike will begin and end at the park's visitor center. Please bring water, snacks and hat and wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the hike. This event is FREE for Montana residents. A park entrance fee of $5.00 per vehicle applies to non-residents. Due to the length of time and distance that will be covered walking, consider this a moderately strenuous walk.

The park is 3.5 miles north of Ulm, just off of Interstate 15 at Exit 270.

Who: This program is presented by First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park staff.

First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park is one of the largest buffalo jumps in North America. The visitor center and interpretive trails tell the story of the people, the animals and the landscape of the buffalo culture. In 2012 more than 15,000 people visited this state park.
