Region 4 Headquarters (Great Falls)
|Description||Did you know that you might see 40-plus species of birds in and around Giant Springs in late fall and early winter? Come find how to identify them and where to look for them Saturday, November 17th at 1 PM. You will meet Arla Eckert, an Audobon Society Guide, in the conference room at the FWP headquarters building on Giant Springs Road for a presentation on local birds, followed by a birdwatching walk in the park at 2:30 PM. Come dressed for cold weather and wind. The outdoor session should end by 4:30 PM, perhaps with a hooting great horned owl! You can attend one session or both. There is no charge for this program, and it is open to all. Come join the fun, and learn the art of birding!
Event held at Region 4 Headquarters, 4600 Giant Springs Road, Great Falls, MT.
