The Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) program is designed to introduce women -- aged 18 to 80+ -- to outdoor skills. A 3-day summer workshop and other specialty workshops are held throughout the year in fishing, hunting, canoeing, snowshoeing and other skills. Registration fees cover some of the cost of the workshops. To raise money for scholarships and additional workshop expenses, the program sells goods bearing the BOW logo. Products include fleece vests and hats, tote bags and pullover jackets.
